OHR was started in January 2000 to work with Hotels, as "Consultative Educator". Work with hotels as an outsourced Electronic Marketing, Electronic Channel Management and Revenue Company. Company was formed with objective to help individual hotels maximize revenue from Electronic Channels
We strongly believe in Strategizing and not just listing hotels. Like setting up a great hotel is not just enough, right marketing, rates and sales strategies are essential for the success of hotel or any product. Similarly, to maximize revenue from electronic distribution channels, listing is not enough - It is all about Strategizing. It is correct blend of right rate, right information, right timing, right channel, right positioning. Hotels need to constantly interact with distribution channels in order to effectively maximize revenue. Majority of hotels believe that once listed, business will follow on its own – NOT OHR hotels.
OHR does not look at Electronic Channels in isolation they form an integral part of revenue and occupancy streams. Rooms are like stocks and must be traded at the correct forecasted rates to maximize revenue and occupancy. Failing which hotels constantly chase Occupancy and/or Average Room Rate. At OHR we believe in taking corrective measures in advance. For us it is NOW.

We at OHR accept hotels, only after strict scrutiny, meeting with management and referral. OHR has accepted challenges, as we believe in ourselves. We have taken new and already launched - mid-level, boutique and business hotels and made positive impact on their revenue streams. We work with Hotel Management, to show them ways to make a positive impact on revenue and occupancy streams by effectively utilizing concepts of revenue management and electronic distribution channels.
